Questions before you start
Straight answers for operators evaluating KocoDesk.
KocoDesk is a fully managed, AI-powered content management system built specifically for international businesses. It lets one team operate a complete multilingual, multi-site web presence from a single platform, with the structural reliability of enterprise software and none of the technical overhead. In practice, that means you publish to every market you serve without duplicating work or juggling multiple tools.
Every language and every site lives inside one system. KocoDesk provides native language catalogs, separate domains and themes per market, and clean URL routing such as /en/ and /de/, so each region gets a properly structured, independently branded presence rather than a translated copy of a single site. Your teams manage everything centrally, while your visitors see a local, native experience.
A built-in AI agent drafts page structures and localized content directly in the backend, so your teams start from a solid foundation instead of a blank page. Nothing is ever published silently: every write is presented for your confirmation first, and your editors remain fully in control of what goes live. The AI accelerates the work; your people make the decisions.
KocoDesk is a fully managed cloud service. That means hosting, maintenance, and security patching are handled for you, with no servers to operate and no update cycles for your team to manage. You focus on your content and your markets, while we keep the platform secure and available.
Every public page automatically generates a clean Markdown representation of its content, and static routing lets you publish an llms.txt file that AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude can read. As a result, your business can be accurately understood and recommended by the tools your customers are already using to search. KocoDesk keeps your content accessible to both traditional search and the emerging AI discovery channel.
Yes. KocoDesk includes built-in frontend authentication, gated content, and Google login out of the box, so you can restrict pages, documents, or entire portals to authorized users. It can also act as an OAuth2 Identity Provider, enabling single sign-on from your website into your external tools. This lets you offer protected client areas and connected experiences without building custom authentication.
Because KocoDesk is a closed-source, fully managed service, security updates and patches are applied centrally by our team rather than left to each customer to track and deploy. That removes the single largest source of risk in self-managed open-source platforms: unpatched installations. Combined with built-in access controls and outbound email routing that helps your messages reach inboxes instead of spam folders, the platform is engineered to be secure by default.
Yes, and it is a standard part of onboarding. We work with your team to bring over your existing content and structure, and then help you extend it into the markets and languages you want to reach. Migration is treated as a guided project, not a do-it-yourself effort.
The first step is a short, no-obligation conversation to understand your sites, languages, and goals. From there, we prepare a plan covering migration, structure, and rollout, so you know exactly what to expect before anything is built. To get started, book a free call at.
KocoDesk is sold as a worry-free, all-inclusive package at a fixed monthly price, not per site or per user. The base price stays the same as long as your project fits on the standard server; a server upgrade raises the monthly rate, and unusually large projects receive a one-time setup price.
